We started with the simple goal of giving DeFi access to every coin/token in the market. This goal quickly grew, as we aimed higher, to become an unmatched leader in DeFi. We’ve never backed down or wavered from our true intentions and December was proof of our word.
Our UniLend Initium V1 Alpha release has taken the stage! Many have already congratulated us with high praise and we appreciate the sentiment though our journey has just begun. The UniLend Finance team has many more impressive goals to achieve throughout 2021.
Our third project update should be a testament to our intent to complete what we’ve started. We hope you have enjoyed the journey thus far, though we encourage you to buckle up because this rocket is still headed towards the atmosphere and beyond.

UniLend’s Initium Alpha is Live! Ushering in a New Era of Inclusive DeFi
Dec 29: 🙌 We were recently proud to announce that Initium (our Alpha) is live! The wait for the launch of one of the most anticipated DeFi protocols of 2020 is now over.
📈 The Alpha release is unfolding in phases. There will be many updates to Initium in the coming weeks. Some of these updates will be cutting-edge in DeFi and we can’t wait to reveal more.
🦾 Lending and borrowing functionality is now live, with exchange functionality being implemented in the next couple of days. Integrations with our ecosystem partners have now commenced.

Leading Indian Cryptocurrency Exchange CoinDCX to Integrate UniLend Protocol
Dec 10: 🦾 Coinbase-funded CoinDCX exchange has begun a revolution with its crypto-based products, by developing borderless financial services that ensure faster, simpler trading and lending.
📈 Due to this powerful integration partnership, CoinDCX’s large user base will soon enjoy UniLend’s DeFi capabilities such as yield farming of UFT tokens. In addition, CoinDCX exchange will be the official liquidity provider for the UniLend protocol.

Code is Law! Feast your Eyes, UniLend Initium (Alpha) Code is Now Live on GitHub
Dec 29: 🔎 After months of relentless work, we were proud to announce that the code for our Alpha, Initium, is now available on GitHub for the world to see! Anyone can now inspect our code at a moment’s notice.
👨💻 If you aren’t aware, GitHub is the distributed version control for software. Version control is a way to save changes to code over time without overwriting previous versions. Being distributed means that every developer working with a Git repository has a copy of that entire repository.
🦾 We started our journey with the dream of bringing DeFi access to every asset on the market and here we are; now embarking on our revolutionary march forward to change DeFi forever, with each line of code bolstering our protocol.

UniLend Initium Early Access Pioneers Have Been Selected! Our Guide Has Also Been Published!

Dec 15: 💥Staking finance protocol StaFi is preparing to join the UniLend ecosystem and bring their unique rTokens onto our platform. StaFi’s rTokens will add immense value to UniLend and the DeFi community.
🦾rTokens will enable users to utilize their staked tokens for DeFi functionality on UniLend. Users who bring their rTokens onto UniLend will be able to use them to trade for other tokens, or add liquidity to our liquidity pools. Users will also be able to use their rTokens as collateral or lend them out on UniLend.

Dec 10: 🤝 Following our listing on ProBit and our hugely successful ProBit Exclusive sale, our CEO & Co-founder, Chandresh Aharwar, joined the ProBit Telegram group to connect with the community and answer everyone’s questions.
