To track UniLend’s progress on our mission to “Unlock the Full Potential of Decentralized Finance”, we invite you to read our Project Updates covering all areas of our progress over the past month.
During this time the UniLend team hit every target we hoped to achieve and we believe the future will hold much more of the same. We now would like to share an overall comprehensive list of everything we have accomplished within October 2020.
We have gone to market guns ablaze; it seems that everyone knows our name now. Our UniLend Legion ambassador program launched with a barrage of interest, our public sale was an overwhelming success, and we’ve already secured several strong listings with several notable CEXs & DEXs.
This is just a taste of the beginning, there is so much more to come!
Major Highlights
UniLend Fundraising Rounds Attracted a Plethora of Media Coverage
Our fundraising rounds were officially completed at the end of September, having raised $3.1m from a wide range of heavy hitting industry VCs, blockchain-focused companies and prominent personalities.
The media was quick to pick it up! It’s an honor to see UniLend driving the Indian blockchain narrative through mainstream media and industry-focused outlets alike, including Nasdaq, Yahoo, CoinDesk etc.

UniLend Public Sale Sold Out In 30 Seconds!
Oct 14: 🌍 After narrowing down our applicants via Chainlink VRF & KYC, whitelisted users had access to our smart contract contribution phase.

Launch of the UniLend Legion Ambassador Program
Oct 5: 🔑 UniLend Legion members are assisting UniLend in unlocking the true potential of decentralized finance. Along the way, those that have joined the cause will be rewarded in $UFT tokens along with other incentives including awesome UniLend Merch.

UniLend & ChainLink Team Up to Ensure an Ultimately Fair Public Sale
Oct 10: 🤝 The UniLend Public Sale lottery guaranteed fairness and transparency with on-chain verifiable randomness by Chainlink.
🧩 Any hypothetical possibility of tampering with lottery-based token sales was removed with Chainlink VFR.
🎰 Chainlink VFR’s randomization process is truly random, secure and publicly verifiable.
UFT Public Sale Was Almost 300x Oversubscribed!
Oct 10: We received over 43,000 submissions for participation in our Public Sale— when added up we were nearly 300x oversubscribed!
🙏 Thank you to everyone who registered their interest for our public sale. The response was incredible! We diligently evaluated the entries to remove any bot submissions and submissions from restricted countries.
📈 Our Telegram community grew from around 4K members to almost 12K during the sale period. We were honored and excited by the huge interest in UniLend.

On October 16 we were excited to announce that UFT is now live in Blockfolio 🥳

Joining Forces with Dvision Network
On October 21 we were excited to announce that we had joined forces with Dvision Network in order to introduce UFT in their VR metaverse.

Collaboration with Bluzelle
Oct 23: We were excited to announce that UniLend Finance has partnered with Bluzelle! Bluzelle is a high throughout, multi-function, interoperable, decentralized database who’s infrastructure services play an important role in revolutionizing traditional finance.

UniLend & Ankr Partnership
Oct 27: 🦾 Ankr has established a reputation for creating gateways to Web 3.0 by connecting consumers, developers and enterprises to the new internet, in a few easy clicks.
🛡 The Ankr team will help power the UniLend platform by running an Ethereum node, via their robust and direct Ethereum API access. It is well known that Ankr already supports 30+ nodes for many prominent networks like Bitcoin and Ethereum, which is why we are in good hands.

Exchange Listings & DeFi Initiatives
Leading Exchange Bithumb Global Lists UFT
Oct 15: Following the successful community voting, UFT was listed on leading exchange Bithumb Global! 🥳
👥 UniLend was Bithumb Global Learning project 7. This means UniLend required 10,000 votes for UFT to be listed. Thanks to our amazing community, we smashed this target with 31,225 votes!
📆 Therefore, UFT was listed on Bithumb Global on October 16, at 11:30 AM IST via the trading pair UFT/USDT.
UFT Listed on CoinDCX
Oct 16: After our listing on 3 major DEXs and Bithumb Global, UFT was listed on CoinDCX!
📊 CoinDCX is a leading Indian exchange with a large following of active traders, offering a range of trading features such as spot, margin, & futures trading, in addition to lending for their growing user base.
✅ CoinDCX users are able to trade UFT via UFT/USDT trading pairs.
MX DeFi Program Went Live With UFT
Oct 17: The MX DeFi program enables MXC exchange users to earn yield on specially designated tokens. UFT was added in mid-October.
The launch was very successful with a flying start of $6Mn+ TVL (Total Value Locked) in the MXC Launchpool 🔥
📆 The staking period was between: Oct. 16 — Oct. 21
Users were able to farm UFT tokens during this time period.

MXC Exchange Lists UFT
Oct 17: UFT is now live for trading on MXC Exchange with the UFT/USDT pairing! Deposits, withdrawals and trading are active.
The MXC exchange launched in Apr 2018, and prides itself as one of the leading crypto exchanges for digital assets. MXC is a centralized cryptocurrency exchange registered in Seychelles.
