UniLend Finance at EthCC 2024 Brussels: Event Highlights
We made a significant mark at EthCC Edition 7 in Brussels, further accelerating our DeFi revolution across the Web3 space.
From July 7 to 12, EthCC took center stage in Brussels, offering a whirlwind of activity. This vibrant event featured hundreds of meetups, workshops, and networking opportunities, culminating in the main conference from July 8th to 11th.
EthCC (Ethereum Community Conference) is the largest annual European Ethereum event, focusing on technology and community. Spanning four intense days of sessions, networking, and learning, the conference attracted over 6,400 attendees, 150+ events, and featured 390+ speakers.

We actively participated in discussions, and engaging workshops, and connected with key industry players, solidifying our position as pioneers in DeFi innovation. Our presence in Brussels highlighted our commitment to fostering collaboration and advancing the blockchain ecosystem.
Historic Moment
At this year’s EthCC in Brussels, Ethereum celebrated its 10-year anniversary since Vitalik Buterin published the whitepaper. The event featured Ethereum OG co-founders Vitalik Buterin, Joseph Lubin (currently Consensus CEO), and Gavin Wood (currently running Polkadot) speaking back-to-back to a full house. Afterwards, the three posed for a rare photo, capturing a historical moment that had everyone reaching for their phones.
Their speeches were electrifying, with Vitalik’s rapid-fire delivery, Joseph Lubin reflecting on Ethereum’s journey, and Gavin Wood emphasizing cross-chain collaboration
Seeing these three legends on stage together was an unforgettable experience, marking a decade of Ethereum’s transformative impact on the blockchain world.
Side Events
Our team had a fantastic time connecting with Web3 innovators and projects like Chainlink, UnoRe, PureFi, Propeller Heads, Uniswap, Flashbots, and more. We shared key developments during the events, explored new opportunities in the DeFi space, and made valuable connections to drive Web3 innovation.
Attending side events like Espresso Systems x Frontier Dot Research’s Cake Day, State of Onchain Liquidity, and more further reinforced our commitment to revolutionizing the Web3 space.
Proof of Attendance at EthCC 2024
As part of our community outreach extravaganza, we hosted a Proof of Attendance event at EthCC 7. Attendees were asked to snap a selfie with their EthCC 2024 badge and swag, spill some alpha about their projects, and tag it as Proof of Attendance. With a prize pool of $1,000 in UFT up for grabs, it was a winning opportunity all around.
