How to Add Numa RPC to Your Metamask Wallet
MetaMask is a popular Web3 wallet that enables users to interact with blockchain networks and decentralised applications (dApps). In this guide, we’ll explain a custom RPC and how to set one up in your MetaMask wallet.
Steps to Add Numa RPC
Follow these steps to add a custom RPC to MetaMask:
1. Open MetaMask
- Open the MetaMask browser extension or mobile app and log in to your wallet.
- If you haven’t set up MetaMask yet, download MetaMask and create a wallet first.
2. Access the Network Settings
- Click on the network dropdown at the top of your MetaMask interface. By default, this will display “Ethereum Mainnet.”
- In the dropdown menu, select Add Network or Custom Network (the option varies depending on your MetaMask version).
3. Enter Network Details
You will need the following information about the custom network:
Base Mainnet RPC
• Network Name: Base Mainnet (Numa)
• RPC URL: https://rpc.numa.network/base
• Chain ID: 8453
• Currency Symbol: ETH
• Block Explorer URL: https://basescan.org
Enter these details into the respective fields for Ethereum and Base networks, and click Save.
4. Verify the Network
Once saved, MetaMask will switch to the newly added network. You can verify by checking the network name in the dropdown menu.
